New member of the ultra-low power consumption family, Wuhan Core Source Semiconductor releases 32-bit M0+core MCU CW32L052 series products
Wuhan Xinyuan Semiconductor's ultra-low power family has added a new member - the 32-bit M0+core MCU CW32L052 series chip.
CW32L052 is a single chip low-power microcontroller based on eFlash, integrating ARM with a main frequency of up to 48MHz ® Cortex ®- M0+core, high-speed embedded memory (up to 64K bytes of FLASH and up to 8K bytes of RAM), supporting up to 55 I/O interfaces.

Peripherals include: 1 channel 12 bit ADC, 3 channels UART (supporting LIN communication interface), 2 channels SPI, 2 channels IIC, analog voltage comparator, low voltage detector, multi timer, and up to 8 × Functional modules such as 36 segment LCD driver.
The working temperature of CW32L052 is -40 ℃~85 ℃, and the wide working voltage is 1.65V~5.5V. It supports two low power consumption working modes: Sleep and DeepSleep. The working current in DeepSleep mode is only 500nA, and the wake-up time from this mode is only 4us.
Sleep mode
In Sleep mode, the CPU stops running, all peripherals remain operational, and the CPU can be awakened in the event of an interrupt or event.
DeepSleep mode
DeepSleep is used to achieve minimum power consumption, with the CPU stopping, high-speed clock modules (HSE, HSIOSC) automatically shutting down, and low-speed clocks (LSE, LSI, RC10K, RC150K) remaining in their original state.
When an external reset, IWDT reset, or partial peripheral interrupt occurs, or RTC event occurs, the chip exits DeepSleep mode.
As a popular supplement to low-power MCU in the market, CW32L052 inherits the excellent design concept and framework of CW32L083, and has been partially streamlined and optimized on the basis of CW32L083 to reduce costs but not compromise performance. Currently, two packaging products, LQFP64 and LQFP48, have been launched, which can be widely used in fields such as the Internet of Things, portable healthcare, and smart home.
